What we insure
Built for buildings.

Why The Landlord Insurance
Price and coverage. Both.
Most owners are told to pick one. We think your building deserves a good number and a policy that holds up.
Markets not everyone has
Access to insurance markets and programs for real estate that aren't available everywhere — more options to compare for your building.
A sharper price
We shop your building so you see what the market will really offer, and we look for savings without cutting the coverage you need.
Buildings. Only buildings.
Buildings are what we do: multifamily, mixed-use, brownstones, HDFC and co-ops, office, industrial and retail buildings, vacant buildings and renovations.
A human on every file
Every request is reviewed by a person on our team, not a pricing robot. You get an estimate you can actually rely on.
Who we work with
Owners, boards and the people who run buildings.
- Building owners of every size, from a single building to a large portfolio
- Small walk-ups to large multifamily and mixed-use buildings
- Owners of office buildings, industrial and warehouse buildings, and shopping centers
- HDFC co-ops, co-op and condo boards
- Property managers
- New buyers who need coverage before closing

FAQ
Good questions.
What kinds of buildings do you insure?
We focus on New York real estate in New York City, Long Island and Westchester, for owners of every size, from a single building to a large portfolio: multifamily and apartment buildings, mixed-use buildings with stores below, brownstones and brick buildings, HDFC and co-op buildings, condo associations, and commercial buildings such as office buildings, industrial and warehouse buildings, and shopping centers and retail strip centers. We also insure vacant buildings and buildings under renovation.
How do I get an estimate?
Fill out the estimate form with the building details. We review every request and email you an estimate after review. The site does not show automatic prices, because a real number depends on the building.
Do I have to wait until my renewal?
No, but your renewal date is a good target. If you send us your details a couple of months before renewal, there's time to shop properly and compare.
What information helps you give a better estimate?
Your current declarations page, five years of loss runs, the number of units and stories, year built, construction type, any commercial tenants and updates to the roof, plumbing, electrical and heating.
Renewal coming up? Send us the building.
One form, a few minutes. We shop our markets and email you an estimate after a real review.
